Re: How to hit the bullseye at 900 yd?

Yep, good advice from Mr Smith. Even if you can't get others to join in, practice wind and mirage calls yourself. I taught myself by shooting center of target and making a call as to where I thought it hit the target according to conditions for that shot. Once the target came back up, you'll have yo...

...The extra cost would have to be coming from your state association as that would be the only variance from what we pay in Queensland. I suspect that Queensland subs would be heavily subsidised by the Association's unique income source, namely the Belmont spoil disposal business. Good on them, bu...

Re: George Wittorff hunter class

Wow. No wonder you guys are having trouble getting new members. It really doesn't matter what class we introduce if we have to break the bank just to become members.

Re: George Wittorff hunter class

Wholly shit, where are you paying $450 a year for membership fees. It costs me about $180 this year, and that was with the NRAA price rise. There is a cheaper option which we offer to new members that have no interest in opm. It's field and rimfire, which gives them club and association membership a...

Re: Loads for 80 gr .223 rem help please?

Hi Graham, I've got a savage model 12 fvss in 223 with a 1:9 x 26" barrel. All factory. I'm running 24.8 grn of 2206h behind 70 grn vld. I switched over to 06h from 2208 because with the shorter barrel I don't beleive it was burning all the powder properly. My thoughts for this is because the b...

Call it what you want, Mike. But I can guarantee that north arm are not the only range that won't allow camouflage clothing. Scott. Scott, thanks for not answering the 2 specific questions. Mick. That's correct, I didn't answer either question because this isn't the thread for that. But I'm not tal...

Done. Hopefully he likes to read.

Again genuine question: How does it impair safety? After near on 28 years in the Army - I have to call that as BS. Call it what you want, Mike. Re: George Wittorff hunter class

North Arm’s rules would be a good start if Scott R wants to chime in . Or Seddo’s rules. We've been running our Sporter Class at North Arm Rifle Club for a few months now and the main thing these guys want is simplicity. Everyone who has come to shoot with narc like how easy it is to come and have ...

Wouldn't it make you look like a fool if Dennis turns out to be a better captain than Craig could ever dream of being. Obviously, he must have some good qualities to be picked as captain, not that he will get a chance to prove them. Especially if you get your way. This is with no disrespect to Craig...

PRS Style Rem 700

A mates got his 308 Remington 700 in a magpul stock, PRS butt, 6-24x50 vortex PST scope in mils. He never kept a record, but it wouldn't have 200 factory rounds through it. Would be a very good entry level rifle for PRS style matches. $2500 includes bi-pod.
