Re: The Future

I may be only reasonably new to fullbore, but in the 5 years I've been shooting t/r at club and Queens shoots, I believe that the numbers have improved. I know in se Queensland, every country range has seen member increase and their prize shoots are showing an increase right across the board. For in...

Re: Fitting Rear Peep

You'd probably be beter off selling the tmac and buying a top mount warner or an rpa sight. It'd work out cheaper as they just screw to your scope rail.
Have you had the barrel turned down to accept the front sight mount?

Re: Elevation adjustments

Thanks guys, it should be pretty cool having a go at this. We're going to have a shoot with the 300 f class paper targets.

Elevation adjustments

Is it possible for someone to work out an elevation adjustment for a 22lr @ 1085fps from 25m zero to 300m, please. I don't have a ballistic app to do it myself.
It'll much appreciated if someone can help us out.

Re: a funny advertisement

It all boils down to different strokes for different folks! Why poke shit at people because they enjoy shooting different things? we are all shooters at the end of the day! This kind of thing has always split the shooting community and no wonder we are a dying sport!!! Does this help? "1/4&quo...

Re: Barnard bolt replacement

Definitely Keith, that's why I came here first to ask the question. With all you guys here, I would have been a bit loose in the head to go elsewhere.

Barnard bolt replacement

Can anyone please give me an estimate of what it's worth to replace 2 x 308 barnard P13 bolts. Am I best to go through barnard themselves or am I able to source them new from a supplier here in Australia? Actually, while I'm here, if anyone hears of anyone trying to flog off a couple of barnard bolt...

Re: Sighting Problems

You only have to remove the eagle eye if you use a magnified diopter. It's all good with a presciption lense.

Re: Stock type?

I got to have a good look at the rifle and stock yesterday arvo. It definitely was someones pride and joy at one point in it's life. The adjustable cheek peice looks to be original and it doesn't have any marks or names on it anywhere. The only thing that may help is the action screw washers are mor...

Re: QRA Queens

http://shooting.hexsystems.com.au/competition/143 Thanks. I've seen the results there and on the QRA website. What I was curious about is why the last two years aren't in the NRAA system and for 2016 only the Duncan, Queens and Grand aggregates. In particular I wonderd if this meant the Qld Queens ...

Re: Stock type?

Thanks guys, I don't think it's a LWB as it doesn't have one of his discs on it and the trigger guard is different to the norm. I thought it may hv been an early Phil Mastin stock, but again it doesn't have his disc either. I hadn't thought of Tom Canti though.

Stock type?

Does anyone have any idea of the stock maker wrapped around this old m80 Angel. One of the new guys at the club has just bought it and was inquiring about it.

Re: Military rifle enthusiasts Queensland

Peter, if you want to let him know that if he can come and see us at the range at north arm on any Saturday arvo or just get him to give me a call on 0404063701 we'll be prices and stuff. Thanks for the heads up, I'd hate seeing these rifles just getting handed in when they can't be found a home. Sc...
