Re: Aussie made cleaning rods.

Hi guys

The rods and spindles are all complete in just waiting on the handles to come back from anodising I'm hoping to have a confirmation Monday that they are complete and ready to be shipped back to me. I'll advise payment details once they are together and ready to go.

Cheers
Chris

Re: Aussie made cleaning rods.

Ok all I've been like a ghost for the last few months with getting crook and all the recovery. I decided to outsource the handles before I had surgery so I could keep these moving forward. What a total f@ckup that was on my behalf. The company I used opened my drawings in a program that doesn't tran...

Re: 21st Century - Calibrated Bullet Seating Die vs. Others

Albert as Matt said they tend to be very hit and miss. I would much sooner have a Wilson chambered with the same reamer before going down that path.

Re: Aussie made cleaning rods.

Ok guys sorry for the stuff around wth these. The last lot that went out to anodising just disappeared somewhere within the auspost system and they weren't insured so I had to cop that on the chin. I've managed to get another lot ready for anodising I'm just finishing another job to send them all at...

Re: Coatings for dies to reduce clearances

my suggestion would be remake that section of the die with the chamber reamer so it matches perfectly with your cases or option 2 slightly more agricultural devcon in the affected areas and run the chamber reamer into it if you really want to keep that die.

Re: Aussie made cleaning rods.

Hi bud these are still happening I was running behind with everything from prepping for the state teams events. The anodising that was done on the last lot was very poor quality and I won't be going back there again. The next lot and the rework ones will be going out this week to someone who can pro...

Re: Automatic powder scales.

I have the auto tricker attached to a set of a&d fx320 scales. It's a great system repeatability is very good with most powders. Some there's maybe a .02-.1g overthrow. I wouldn't discount the Lyman gen 6 though. There's a few shooters here in wa solely using them and it seems to do them no harm.

Bix'n'Andy competition trigger

I've wanted one of these things for quite some time. Since I'm building a trio of bats I decided to go all out. This is the first trigger to see if I like it. Initial impressions are very good. Extremely well made and breaks smooth as glass. They claim to be repeatable to 0.03 oz. it's a bit bigger ...

Re: Aussie made cleaning rods.

Ok guys bit of an update. The anodiser is running about 6 weeks behind on all his work at the moment so I'm pretty much at a stand still until all the handles come back from him.

Sorry for all the delays.

Re: Aussie made cleaning rods.

I've managed to get a fixed flat rate post cost to anywhere in Australia for $25. There's a second lot underway currently as the intital interest was far more than I was expecting and I didn't produce enough to cater for that.
