Re: The Future

A simple step in a forward direction is for all the current membership to embrace “all of the current SSR’s”, what I mean by that is to really get behind (not just tolerate) the other disciplines such as 600 &1000 yrd benchrest and service/ field rifle. Some of these other disciplines require le...

Re: Barnard bolt replacement

You can’t buy directly from Barnard. Not much point having distributors in Australia if anyone could buy directly from Barnard NZ. Complete P bolt $695 and complete PE(jector) bolt $795. One PE bolt in stock, can order P bolt if required.

Re: Cleaning Rods. Coated or not

Nothing but Gunslick for me, the handle are superior to anything else on the market. Wouldn't clean a 5R barrel with anything else. Matt P I’ve seen the gunslick ones before and yes they are good. What do you think of the Dewey rods Matt? The handles spin like crazy and the coated rods don’t seem t...

Re: Copperhead projectile approval?

Bruce As much as I don't have time for the NRAA in it's current form, I think that's just a rumour and also something they couldn't afford to enforce (might cost some membership  ). Alan It's come up a few times, mainly prior to the introduction of the Bergers as Palma teams have to adhe...

Re: Copperhead projectile approval?

Alan To get the ball rolling you would need a State Association to put it to the board for approval. I would suggest asking Ken if he could handle supply first thou. Matt P Thanks Matt, asking Ken would be a first priority, if there was to be a follow on that members would benefit having his projec...

Now that the list is so long why bother to have it at all? What's gained by excluding others of the same weight?

Re: 7mm SAUM Rechamber/Barrel Life

Hi Marty I've only run 1 barrel out completely and it was Brux that was very accurate and it fell apart at around 1400, and my gut tells me that this probably isn't the norm. I think this one went a bit longer. From looking down a few barrels I think if you're paying someone to rechamber around the ...
