Re: NSW F Class Website

I see that the NSWRA website has been updated recently, however it could do with some more of the information that is on the Fclass site, and it doesn’t have links to all NSW club’s websites. Also the Festival of Sydney program is now available - https://bcrcnewsandinfo.yolasite.com/resources/FoS%2...

Re: Kock up, can it be fixed ?

Re: Kock up, can it be fixed ?

It's Christmas,( or more commonly called the silly season), so it's makes me feel a little better. I have a F open rifle that shoots pretty good, but my understanding of precision reloading is basic, I have dedicated area for reloading but in reality it's just a seat in a shed with a press and stuf...

Re: Alpha Munitions - Brass interest

Looks like quality brass concern for me is the SRP sees to have a large flash hole, which is part of the benefit of SRP.
When are they going to do SAUM ?

Re: New importer for Peterson Brass ?

thats a good idea Mozzie, but with you importing a lot of different cal brass i can see that our customs will have a field day, especially if you dont have some of them on your licence. I would have thought a dealer or distributor would have taken these on by now as i think a lot of people are afte...

Re: Newbie needing some advice

To get started all you really need is a caliber that stays super sonic at the max range you're shooting. Things that are highly recommended that the 75 doesn't have is a 10 round magazine. I shoot PRS (Precision Service Rifle, which will be added to the SSR's early next year) there are 2 classes NAT...

Re: NRAA QUEENS / Australian Championships

IMO Belmont is the right place, it's easy to fly into if needed, it has 1000 yards and the facility is the best in Australia.
I wouldn't support a move to another State, if ACT had a usable 1000 yard/900m mound it would be my other option.

Re: Ammunition levy

With around 5500 members our chances of "taking over" the SSAA (upwards of 150000 members) are pretty slim. One thing with regards to the bullet tax is remember the lower costs of the approved bullets is due to bulk purchasing. Although the majority of FO and FTR don't contribute to the NR...

Re: Problems with CCI 450s

One of my Barnards is a'98 model. Bolt has always been de-cocked at end of days shooting. Always goes bang with all brands of primers. Do not know how many shots fired. Cheers, Trevor. You must of got one of the springs not made of "metals which dont weaken like Barnard springs do"...

Re: 6 br additional calibre

With the current bullets available to 308 shooters IMO the 223 isn't competitive past 700. There will be the odd barrel/shooter combo that does well but it's the exception not the rule. The 223 with heavy bullets can be a PITA to get to work at the longer ranges. I shot a 223 in FS for a while and b...
