Re: The Future

wal,
if they were selling things including hats they would have cash.
hats would be in stock and some could be given away wisely.
look at the ssaa store as an example.

Re: The Future

you are correct brad. we either correct the perception or bypass it. the latter would take less effort, and gain more in both the short and long terms. however the point is that the nraa could include hats in their products they sell to raise money,AND promote the organization and disciplines. how t...

roger
other people don't know what we shoot and how good it is.
because they have not been told.
no need to change product just because you neglected to sell the one you have now.
wal,
look at those hats.
imagine if they had nraa written on them.

peter,
you are absolutely right.
now what more can they do.
with non long range target shooters.
with non shooters.
i.e. boosting membership.
and what can they do in terms of coming to grips with the fianacial position in a real way?

Re: NRAA Ammo Survey.

is the nraa relevent any more? other than a national queens, what is their real purpose. the state bodies do the heavy lifting with tha nraa to coordinate. if the state bodies could establish an alternative coordination method, and get it dealing with national bodies and govts ets, the nraa could di...

the nraa could raise money by having a shop sike ssaa.
the nraa could raise money by increasing membership.
they elect to do neither of these things.
what other organization has a management structure that operates in this manner and allows them to continue?

Re: NRAA Ammo Survey.

brad,
the more it costs, the more people will make the choice not to come.
when there are other ways to make money, which actually reduce costs to shooters, it is worth exploring.
have you seen ssaa eshop?
also selling products that promote our deal helps membership potential increases.

Re: NRAA Ammo Survey.

well if they thought out of the square (thought at all), they would already be running an eshop selling products like the ssaa does. this would include products like hats and stubby holders which promote nraa and long range shooting in general. done properly it would raise far more money than a bull...

swift bullet co introduces brass.

swift have introduced brass cases.
some of these are described in terms of being match grade, 223 and 308.
how good they are and where they are made is unknown.
if as described, they could be another source.

Re: NRAA Ammo Survey.

i have not seen the survey. from comments here it suggests that it is about a way to regain control of the bullet tax, rather than explore real ways to make money. in light of the fact that they could not manage the bullet thing previously, the question should be asked, can they do it now? particula...
