another brand to investigate might be tse.
they are doing hand lapped s.steel match as an option.
I have a 0.400/0.408 13 twist blank that looks good inside.

there might be 2 considerations with cleaning pockets. first is as already mentioned uniform primer seating, both depth and a firm base to support the primer. the other is the abrasive nature nature of primer dirt. the less of that stuff in a good barrel the better. a Sinclair uniformer cleans pocke...

I find shotgun shooting a little imcongrous with rifle shooting due I suspect to different trigger control methods.
if I improve at one, the other suffers and vice versa.
one who excels at both is to be applauded.

I did see a post that said something about skirts and lattes, but it has been changed. not sure what that meant, or the one there now. but I am sure you would not approve of a shooting event in oz being named in connection with solving a conflict with firearms, and that you realize that it would not...

our club does, and has such a good system that f open, fstd, ftr, tr, and black powder can all compete against each other.
it really seems to bond the club, and a lot of fun comes from it.

that would suggest that 0.2" would suffice, as it is minimum for berger vld.
