Re: C.G MILLENIUM

This is great news. Let's hope that the quality does justice to the design.

Re: 6.5 SLR

I'd say the new heavier 6.5mm projectiles will be competitive with 7mm class if range energy limits are in play. With the portability of the Labradar I suspect that checks may become more commonplace.

Re: Qld Labour intends to impose Ammo limits

If they do introduce ammo limits I wonder how that will impact reloaders? I guess labour politicians think it is a "feel good" legislation. They still haven't learnt that criminals just don't follow the law, they tend to be very stubborn in that respect... It will make no impact whatsoever...

Re: Carbon donut

What was the reamer used for that chamber and what freebore?

Looks like a hard jam to me.

Kochie not only looks like a penis, he has a similar intellect as well. Never watch the sunrise program as it is basically garbage. Some like it though and those people are best avoided...

I'd be wary of using that as it can rust. Loaded with sulphur compounds for metal cutting purposes.

Re: 21st Century - Calibrated Bullet Seating Die vs. Others

I like the Redding competition seating die but mine is going through an evolutionary process. I machined up a new seating stem to engage closer to the bearing surface and this helped but still isn't ideal. The next project will be to machine a new guide from a section of rifle barrel and ream it usi...

Re: Case deburring tools

I have the Forster 3 in 1 and it is hopeless. Lies unused in the reloading gear bitser box.

Re: Odd barrel

Sounds like one of those WW2 machine pistols that were designed to shoot around corners. Seriously, something very wrong with the set up. Loose barrel, defective or damaged scope, scope mount threads seriously misaligned etc.

Re: to taper the flash hole or not ?

According to the latest from Bryan Litz, on Lapua brass don't touch the flash hole. Unify depth only.

Re: Lab Radar

I did order a Labradar from Bruno's in Arizona in February but the order always came as pending when the order status was checked. At the time according to their website they did ship to Australia. Finally got round to phoning them to check the order and was advised they won't ship to Australia. The...

Re: North QLD Queens

Still pissing down rain here... The Wilson match on day 2 somewhat abbreviated. I'm shooting the Queen's but not keen on a soaking. A pity one of the mound SDU's was taken out on the TMRC APM... This reduced the number of targets available to 8. Not the best outcome at the best of times but with thi...
