Re: A & D FX-300I advice

I have used the auto trickler and a manual power thrower to just below target weight and it is very quick and accurate, usually within a granule of powder.
My set up is the FX 300 with an electric manual trickler which is slower but ok.

Re: New to bench rest shooting

Hi Ben, Welcome to the wonderful world of shooting. You said bench rest shooting is where you are starting, what distances are you planning to shoot? There will be suitable second hand gear for you to start with but the best advice I can give you is to be patient. Use the club gear and do your resea...

I started with an rcbs partner kit which still sees use for bullet pointing and hunting loads.
My main press is an rcbs rock chucker with whidden bushing fls dies for sizing and Wilson in line seating dies with the micrometer tops for seating projies in a K&M press

I'm glad no one mentioned the above to my first 280 AI - it was very accurate at long distance and wasn't a pain to tune.
Possibly just a hummer barrel?

Re: KEEP ME IN TUNE

Cleanliness is next to Godliness.
Find someone with a borescope who knows what they are looking at to tell you the condition of your barrel, the patches can lie.
Barrels - like tyres are a consumable.

Re: tell me about tuners for fclass

Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong here: Pretty sure tuners were first used on 22 target rifles to get the best out of fixed factory ammo. If you go to any comp my guess is your ammo will be loaded before hand. Just like 22 ammo you won’t easily change it. So I like the idea of having an option to...

Re: sara queens

Sunday morning and fouling shots completed. There’s nothing quite like the smell of gunpowder first thing in the morning. Wind has changed direction this morning and is coming from the east. The day looks great and there will be cheers or tears soon enough. DD0A989E-90B1-4C10-A199-F8FA6A2C02BE.jpeg ...
